Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has received numerous awards for her works. She advocates human rights for animals. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most famous movies. The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. While working as assistant to photographers, she turned her attention towards modeling and acting. She was noticed in two of her films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. MacGraw's movie Love Story was an international success, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films MacGraw was named one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she got her signature and hand-footprints engraved. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was published. MacGraw is divorced three times.
