Ina Garten, an American writer of cookery cookbooks as well as Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 has 27 seasons to 2020. Ina began her career working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy papers. After initially finding the job interesting and stimulating, she soon became bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then acquired. The store was a success for 18 years. the business extremely profitable before selling it off before acquiring a pen to begin writing her first book. Many different cookbooks and magazines followed. Meanwhile her Food Network television show too made its debut and became a huge success. Ina sells a variety of products, from ingredients for cooking to kitchenware and storage. Ina herself, a self-taught chef, has never studied at a culinary school or in an establishment. Ina is well-known for her simple style of cooking as well as her easy entertaining. Some of her best known recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
