Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the US for over forty years. Most famously, she is known for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared during her stage debut. After that, she acted on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner became huge at the National Theater. The singer also released her debut album, titled It's Time to Tina in the same year. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's student. Another notable character she portrayed as Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up with in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully move between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character opposed her perceived image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director of popular television programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated to Essex to Toronto, where she spent her childhood and teenage years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the lead role.
