Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she coaches athletes. Annie became the very first woman to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. In 2010, she finished second. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter as well as a media star. The first female to be awarded the CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. In addition, she is known for taking home in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised in Iceland, Reykjavik with her siblings and parents. In her early years she was an avid lover of exercise and sports. She was a participant in numerous school events and earned several medals. She first competed in CrossFit in California in 2009. Her performance was good during her first competitions. Annie Thorisdottir's average age is 31 years old (as as of 2021). Her height is 5'7" and she weighs approximately about 67kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California 2009. Annie did very well in the initial races and placed within the top 10 of 70. She did not manage to achieve any success in the tournament, and ended her time with an overall score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's coaching she won the silver medal at the CrossFit Games. In the following year she was a participant in another CrossFit competitions and due to her impressive performance, she took home the contest and became the first female to take home a trophy at CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie also won the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She was the first female athlete to win the two CrossFit Games consecutively. Also, she received a trophy of silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Presently, Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie became a celebrity athlete after gaining recognition. She has been associated with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae, among others.
